Town Hall meeting on April 9

We’re excited to be hosting a town hall meeting on climate change on Monday, April 9th, at St. Thomas Wesley United Church (808 20th St W). Everyone is welcome and we hope you’ll join us to discuss what meaningful climate solutions can look like in the province of Saskatchewan (and the city of Saskatoon!).

At a town hall meeting we helped to organize in May 2016, which was in relation to the federal climate change plan, we heard from many folks desiring more of these types of opportunities, particularly around local issues. In late 2017 the Saskatchewan government released details of its climate change strategy. We’ve been critical of the plan and want to provide an opportunity to fill the community in and to work towards bolder action commensurate with the scale of the climate change challenge. We also want to hear from you!
