Fall is arriving, and as you no doubt know this fall brings both provincial and municipal elections to Saskatchewan. We want to make sure climate change is on the political agenda for these upcoming campaigns. However, we know climate change can be difficult to discuss during the best of times, and it can be a particularly thorny topic during elections.
With that in mind, we are offering a free webinar series focused on how to discuss climate change with your family and friends. Rather than focusing on climate change facts, this webinar will be about story-telling: how to relate instead of educate, and connect instead of convince.
The webinar series is set up so you can attend one, two or all three sessions. The first session will be the most content-heavy and focus on the basic skills you will be applying in your every-day life or on the campaign trail. This will be recorded and available afterward here on our website. We’re very excited that we’ll be joined by Rachel from Eco-Anxious Stories for this session. The follow-up sessions will be your chance to share your experiences in applying the skills, get feedback from the group, and exchange tips and ideas for moving forward. Read on for dates, times, and the registration link!
