Bite-size Change is finally back! Our summer social was such a hit, we had to host another. Join us on Nov 16 for some good food and good company PLUS a postcard drive for the upcoming city budget! Everyone is welcome—whether you’re climate curious, a passionate advocate for people and the planet, or just down to meet new folks and have a great time.
Here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
- The event will begin at 6 pm at Amigos Cantina in their back room.
- After everyone has settled in and sent in their orders, we’ll have a few people share brief remarks about why the 2026-2027 city budget is critical.
- True to the name of the event series, we’ll be offering a “bite-size” way to take action in the form of a postcard drive.
Climate Justice Saskatoon’s Postcards for Progress campaign is an opportunity to urge the Mayor and Council to get the Climate Action Plan back on track during budget talks this month! Since Saskatoon only sets its budget every two years, this is a key time to speak up for our community and climate! Learn more here.
We’ll pick the lucky winner of our door prize before the end of the night! Mark your calendar and bring a friend. See you there!
